On my 93 there is a little button on the lower right hand side on the plastic cover for the speedometer. Push it is with a pin with the car off, and the light should go out.

On my 89, I had to pull the panel down off the bottom of my dash and the switch was hanging up behind the dashboard.

I tend to think if you have hard panels under the dash, the button should be
on your dashboard
