Um, well, smitten would be a fairly strong term, here. Perhaps you might think of her as a "faded beauty." "The Lady Galadriel" is the name given her by her original owner. It is written on the inner front cover of the original owner's manual, along with a J.R.R. Tolkein "G" rune, as Gandalf used for his mark in the books (it was 1972, after all). I figure the chief inspiration was that the color of the car is Volvo 105, a bit dark for Galadriel's hair, but gold just the same.
As for it being a within reach from Oklahoma, well, that depends upon your conception of "within reach." I'm in Massachusetts, but one of our dear native sons, comedian Steven Wright once said "anywhere is within walking distance if you have enough time."
