Weber strike over 120-130

The spacer serves at least three purposes

1) provides a somewhat resilient surface for sealing against (but an extra surface for leaks!).
2) Provides a thermal break between the manifold and the carb bowl.
3) Provides additional intake length or plenum volume for (in many cases) better mixture distribution or harmonic tuning (much less useful).

I would expect Weber to satisfy their volume customers first... don't expect any "classic" carbs for quite awhile!
