erratic restart...240 DL '89

Check the usual suspects:
1) fuel pump relay
2) crank position sensor
3) 25amp fuse in the engine compartment
4) FI grounds
5) AMM
6) Airbox thermostat
7) coil connections
8) power stage

of course you should check to see if your in tank pump is working.
