Dear Bassmark,

May this find you well. I don't have an 960, but believe the OBD boxes are in the same place as they are, on the 940 series cars.

Open the hood (bonnet). Put your hand on the front-most corner of fender, on the driver's side of the car (USA/Canada models). Put your hand on the fender's edge, closest to where the hood would be, if the hood were closed.

Move your hand towards the windshield. About 32" from the fender's front-most edge, you should see, about 6" to the left of the fender edge, a round rubber fitting, with a 1" hex nut on top. That is the shock tower. As a confirmation, the round rubber fitting is approximately as far forward of the firewall, as is the leading edge of the hood hinge.

On the front of the shock tower, a number of items may be mounted. The items you seek are two black plastic boxes. Each is about 1.5 inches (37mm) long and about 1" (25 mm) wide.

Lift the cover. You will see a fitting with six round openings in it. Not all fittings will be used for the OBD system. The fittings are numbered.

To get OBD readings, follow the procedure in the FAQs.

Hope this helps. Post back if I can further help.

Yours faithfully,

spook
