high/low beam switch 700

My highbeams will not stay on. The lever will not "click" and hold in the high beam position. Does anyone know where the switch is. In other cars i have worked on it was about half way down on the steering shaft,activated by a metal rod that ran down from the lever. I have not looked yet.
