Answer to Ben 444-544

Someone who had heavily modified his PV544 once said: “Regardless of whatever modifications you make, it never will become a modern car...”
I remembered that six months ago, when I saw a very cheap 1992 Ford Scorpio 2.9 V6 (with fourspeed automatic...) on offer at the local garage. I made a drive and was impressed. No, I was VERY impressed. Now I don’t like the looks of any modern car at all and this Ford was no exception, but the ride, power and comfort of this car was very tempting... (maybe I’m getting too old?). Because the paint was very poor I didn’t buy it, but I couldn’t forget that ride anymore and just had to look for such a car in a bit better condition, which I eventually found. After that I decided to sell the PV444.
I’m sorry to say but I don’t expect buying a Volvo again. But never say never... Which reminds me, I’m afraid I’ll have to change my username here if I want to post again ;-)
