I had the rear window broken by a careless tint installer. It cost $1200 for a new rear window for a '90 t44 TI. That's about 5 times what a windshield costs!

You should check prices for a windsheild and a rear window.

If your windsheild is like most, it may be in poor shape and a good candidate for replacement soon.

The windheild is probably wider too.

I was going to do the headliner on the '90 but sold the car. I was going to drop the board and neatly cut it at both sides of the rear of the sunroof hole. Then i intended to pop rivet in a connector on the back before I put it back up. I figured a neat cut was better than a couple of breaks.
