Avoid excessive idling, no more than 5 minutes, two minutes or less might be better. Avoid prolonged constant speeds. Accelerate to build pressure between the rings and cylinder wall followed by closed throttle operation to create vacuum to help pull oil past the rings. Repeat this several times, it should prevent glazing the cylinder walls.
As an option you could change oil and filter at about 250 miles unless you are certain all the "tin"* was spotless.
* I know, not much tin on a Volvo, I'm talking about the housings and covers as well as the oil pan.
Good luck and congratulations!
