Yep, it's the brass thrust spacer. Other points. 1800 1973

Can't think what else.

I think your biggest issue will be resealing the bottom of the cam cover to the pan. While you're in there clean the oil spray nozzle.

Steel gear sets are common on Penta motors, so be sure to include that in your search.

I was advised to correctly dial in the new gears using a degree wheel, a dial indicator, and an accurate lookup table for your cam. The hardest thing to find is the lookup table. Mine happenned to dial in exactly. Some people advocate 1.5 advance, using a stepped woodruff key.
