Nate;
1st make sure that your motor mounts are OK ! The fan would contact the fan schroud under acceleration. "Clicking" is not the sound failed rods or rod bearings make it's definitly "knocking" Locate clicking by listening to engine
with a long screw driver next to your ear. A stethoscope is prefered but above
method will suffice. Chech around the valve cover, distributor and fuel pump,
accelerate throtle as listening. Look for metal shavings on the points plate under the distributor cap. Help us help you. John
