Volvo specific thievery

Seven years in a public parking lot? A 740/760 owner probably thought it was a donor car that wouldn't sell and taking a couple of 'non-critical' parts wouldn't make any difference in the bid price.

Had you done the same around a large city, I doubt that you would have more than a shell left, if that much.

You could look locally at every 740/760 and check the tow hooks and leave a message on the windshield if you find some nicely painted ones :>)
