Radio has no signal

Sometimes when I'm in a big city I'm able to listen to the radio some but usually no signal. When I'm out in the country there's no signal what so ever. All I hear is speaker buzzing. Took it to the Volvo dealership in Bristol tn on 3 different occasions and the first guy said that I. Wasn't getting no signal but there was no time to follow thru with it. The second visit another guy said it was my radio at fault and I had to replace the radio. The third guy said the same as the first person but no one knows how to fix it. Do you have any suggestions.
