Go for it!! Just remember, the gear you go up in is the gear you go down in. Too many flatlanders ride the brakes on the way down instead of using engine braking and wind up with boiled brake fluid and over heated rotors.

There is nothing special you need to do for a small hill climb, except leave that dumb bumper sticker on the shop's display case.

Bring some sandwiches and water/pop for a nice lunch and enjoy the view.
