Others seem to be using the (gas) clutch cable ok, but I hate it, I've broken a few in a short span, and I will be converting it to a hydraulic setup in the future. If you decide to do the gas clutch pedal/cable swap, do not buy the Scan-tech cable from FCP Groton, on my car it did not have enough adjustability to install it in the car. Anyways, the Scan-tech parts are generally TO AVOID! They cost less for a reason.
