Good muffler suggestions

I found everything I tried except the OEM Boss muffler to be MUCH too loud for my delicate little (old) ears. The SpinTech set up was the loudest of all. A buddy has 2 3"X6"X9" SpinTech resonators with 3" in/out that he'd like to get rid of if you can use them. Might help quiet down mufflers further back. That's why I suggested the Dynomax Super Turbos -- they are quieter. Unfortunately they didn't make one in the configuration I needed for mine or I would've used one on mine.

How are you gonna run the duals exactly?

Also -- all that 3" stuff is gonna do is hurt your bottom end torque. If I remember, your engine is rather mild -- 2.5" is PLENTY; 2.25" may be enough. Going larger than the engine needs to breathe won't improve top end flow/HP; but it can hurt low end torque.

Have you thought about aluminized piping instead of stainless? Unless the car's driven a lot on salty roads - I've found the aluminized pipe holds up -- well, just about like stainless. And it's much easier to bend/weld.

Email me at myount@senndelaney.com and I'll send you a pic of mine from underneath. You can see how well it's holding up.
