New injector leaking

I was finally ready to start my new 331(2)stroker and found one of my brand new Accel 24lb. injectors leaking. I took it out, relubed the o-rings using oil once, vasoline once;it just won't seal. I tried switching locations thinking it may be the intake, but it's definitely the injector. In fact, I can see it seeping up from the lower intake so I assume it's the lower o-ring. When I compared it carefully with another injector I can't see or feel a difference. When will the agony end?(LOL)
I didn't actually remove the o-ring to lube it since they were already installed and I didn't want to chance breaking the pintle cap. Should I try that?
