240 axle interchange, which years?

They will all swap. I'm guessing that those 2 date ranges roughly correspond to the years that more 1030s were used. In the US, nearly all were 1031 from 83-up. The people who make those books don't know, they just see a different part #, so they say it won't fit.

Just make sure you get the ratio you want.
From 86-91, all autos had 3.73, and manuals had 3.31
For 240T, manuals had 3.73 I think, and autos had 3.9x x=0?

Some or all 92/93 had a 1041.
