Joining the V8 Conversion brigade (long)

Yeah, I would think that with the Al. LT1 heads, Al. LT1 intake, and a relocated battery, weight on the front end would be pretty dang close to that of a stock B230FT equipped car. Them little 4-bangers are heavy. They're thirsty too, so that's dang good mileage out of a NA 940. I haven't driven a 940 in a long time, but I don't remmeber ours getting much more than 26mpg.

Sounds like a nice car, welcome to V8 Volvo world.
