Alternator Warning light

I have a SBC in my 240, and I'm getting ready to turn the key after a long involved install. One of the things I was thinking about when I installed my serp. belt a few nights ago was how to trigger the alternator/batt warning light in the instrument cluster. I found the wire that goes to the cluster, but I have a 1 wire alt and I'm not really sure how to hook the wire up. Anyone know how to do this?

I've been thinking and I figure that if I'm cruising on the hwy, the only way I'll know that I've lost my belt (and thus the water pump) is if the alternator light comes on. I don't really want to wait until it starts registering on the temp gauge, and especially until I notice that the temp gauge has started rising.

Thanks!

Adam
