Alternator Warning light

What connections do you have on the back of your alt besides the +12? On the "one wire" Powermaster that I had, there was also an optional connection for 2 wire operation. I used that, and the alt light worked as original.

I have since switched to a 3G alternator (Ford V8), and while it works much better, I no longer have a functioning alt light.

You don't have power steering?
