Using the Vehicle Speed Sensor (VSS) on the AOD

I have an AOD with the VSS hooked up in the middle of the speedometer cable. The cable feeds out of the trans, through a hole in the floor next to the transmission hump and the VSS is mounted near the gas pedal behind the carpet.
I've driven about 10,000 miles with it, initally a little noisy, but it settled down and works great.
The VSS really helps with the engine "trim"
I posted an article when I did this, I can't find it in the archives but I did find the photos of the cable modification, they are in the picture gallery - technical section dated: Sun, May 4th 2003
Hope this helps
