V8 240 Weight Distribution

Adam,

Thanks for your time an effort on this--I appreciate it.

I was doing some "research" the other night and found that FRPP/SVT makes a T-bird wheel that's 17x7.5 on the standard Volvo wheel-bolt circle (5x108mm/5x4.25). I need to do some comparisons between back-spacing, offsets, etc., but would still need to use a spacer either way, so the specs for the machinist will help a lot.

I'm currently running Hydras from a Volvo 9-series turbo (16 x 6.5, 25mm offset). I'll have to check tire size, but I think I'm running 205/55 VR 16. I have lots of room to the outside (towards the fenders), so if I can keep the same backspace while increasing wheel width by about an inch I should be in there . . .

Thanks again,

Steve A-
