Getting air through the radiator

Without seeing what you're trying to construct, I wouldn't recommend that you use foam. It'll break down over time and looks pretty unprofessional. I'd make some shrouding out of aluminum sheet. You don't need anything fancy to do this; some sheeting from OSH, a vice, some clamps and a couple of pieces of wood will allow you make the bends you need.
