Got a Converse 740/940 5.0/T5? Please read.

I have just fit my 5.0/T5 into my 740. The shifter stub seems too far forward, even with the trans tunnel notch. Could someone with this combo look at their motor mounts and let me know if the main mount stud is biased "forward" or "aft" when compared with the center of the Converse mount.

You may see where I'm going with this. I suspect that the Converse mounts may have been mislabeled and subsequently placed (by myself) on the wrong side. To clarify, if I stand over the right front wheel and look at the passenger side mount, the large Ford stud appears "forward" when compared with the Converse mount plate.

Automatic car owners need not even go look...the whole setup is different.

Any help would be appreciated...I can't get in touch with Ross.
