1982 245 Restoration

Both the diesel engine and the transmission are completely worn out. Carefully maintained with oil changes every 3k miles and transmission drain/refill every 30k. Only lasted 180k miles. The cost of rebuilding both is just about the same as an engine/transmission swap. While I was never interested in red light racing, the 82 HP diesel and 3 speed transmission was always a little disappointing.

Plus, I need the problem solving exercise since I had to lay myself off due to the economy.
