940 5L conversion

The T-5Z in my 240 has a 2.95 first gear, and 0.63 fifth. Works fine for me; good highway mileage. Just don't try to accelerate in top gear!

Oh yeah, my car has 3.73 final drive.

Edit: oh, I see the ratios have already been addressed.

As for the T-56 in the 940, I know a guy with this setup (also SBF), and he still had to extend the shifter back. It looked like the shifter came up in a similar position to a T-5 in a 940.
