converting from AOD to T5

Hey Steve, I know a lot of people have used the stock 240 clutch cable with success, but for some reason, I had the worst time with it. Maybe the pivot ball was not the right height, and it was a little loose when I took it out, maybe the input shaft bearing retainer was not lubed enough. Whatever it was, the clutch effort and actuation was never consistent, it was never smooth, and I was breaking cables left and right.

I finally put in a hydraulic TOB, and I love it. It works how a clutch should work and I haven't needed to adjust it since I set it up. I wrote a little article about how I put it together on my website:
