Ford 5.0 wiring and cooling setups

Good morning,HotRodVolvo57, the original conversions were wired to the chassis as an individual need depending on model. They were usually spliced using the connectors under the hood for the hot, start and run and other idiot lights and /or gauges.Any powered thermostatically controlled fan will work fine with the stock radiator. may even try a 960 radiator in your application and drop it down thru the lower support tray. The 5 speed cars had an adapter off the stub shaft of the shifter lever to bolt the shift lever to adapter in the proper hole placement of the shift lever. In other words, the lever is still centered in the tunnel but an adapter is needed to be fabricated to reach the trans stub shaft. Good luck and hope all this helps. Dave
