IPD front sway bar clearance

Hi All,
1988 760 wagon. 1992 5.0 and AOD. I bought it converted. The car had the stock sway bars with spacers per the converse manual. I just bought IPD sways and they don't clear the oil pan either. My guess is that the IPD bars for the pre 88 760s have a bigger dip in them for additional clearance. Those of you with IPD bars on 760/940 converted cars, what did you do to make them fit? I don't want to move the engine.

Thanks,
Chris
