V-8 245 autocross??

Hi,

Picked up a 245 wagon with the ford 5.0 AOD conversion. IPD lowering springs and some other tidbits. Love the car but having some trouble with the rear end "breathing" that nasty grease.. The vent tube had come off and it blew some out onto the muffler and was very nasty. I have cleaned that up thourougly but still am noticing the odor under hard accelerations and cornering, any ideas? also anyone out there that autocross' their wagons.. I know not really fast but would sure be cool. I have read the posts regarding the rear ends being flimsy and wondered if anyone has "upgraded" the rear ends without doing alot of fab work. thanks in advance.

david
