V8 get-together?

Hi Ellen - Michael Yount here in Knoxville, TN. I own a car (82 242) that was converted by its original owner back in 96 using a Converse kit. 9 years and 40K miles later it's still going strong. I'd be interested in seeing if it's possible to pull together a V8/turboV6 powered gathering. My suggestion would be that it's open to any of the Chevy/Ford/Turbo Buick powerplants (and we may have the odd Mopar or the fellow in Ft. Wayne that's stuffing a 500 cubic inch Caddy in a 740).

Geography and timing will be the biggest challenge. As you know, we're scattered all over. My preference would be that you come a bit further south -- but I'm in pretty good shape relative to Albany, NY compared to the (large) number of west coast and NW conversions.

I want to appreciate your willingness to step out and take accountability for trying to make things better by/for Converse. That's the only way it can get better and good on you for trying.

Alright, there's got to be some more of you out there that are interested - let's hear from you. Either that, or people will start talking about me and Ellen. :)
