What are y'all using for airboxes?

My car is a 1986 740 former diesel, with the airbox on the right side of the engine compartment. Most of the clips that hold down the cover over the air filter have broken off of the airbox. On Monday, I visited 3 wrecking yards, where I looked at somewhere around fifteen 700 series Volvos. While the airboxes that mount on the left seem to hold up fairly well, all the right side airboxes had some of the clips broken off. For now, I guess I'll get out the duct tape to seal up the air leaks, but I am curious what people are using for air cleaners?

How many of you have pitched your Volvo airbox completely, and what are you using? In those cases, what are you using to support the weight of the air intake tract? (The connection to the airbox provides a lot of support, which would be not be available if the airbox was gone.)
