I think you'll find you'll have a tough time getting a mechanical fan to fit.

I run a fully shrouded SPAL dual 11" fan (www.spal-usa.com) controlled by a variable current/variable speed controller from Delta Current control (www.dccontrol.com).

It's a great set up that works really well to keep the engine cool and for great functioning a/c.
