I do not know if it is a legitimate transaction or not, but it could be a shill bid that failed. Car may end up being offered to the 2nd highest bidder. If the car is quickly re-listed on ebay, that suggests it was a shill bid that scared the 2nd highest bidder away. I will try to follow up and report what I can determine in a month or so.
