ebay proxy bidding

That's cool, that is how I understand it to be.

So what I am saying is that both of the people bid exactly $6000 as their maximum proxy bid. Because if you look at the bid history, the bid amount for both people is $6000. So by looking at that, can't you say that the winning bidder had a maxumum proxy bid of $6000?

Yeah, that's exactly what I do, too. A lot of other people, when they see that you have beaten them, they bid again, driving up the price. So I figure that when you snipe with your real honest maximum, you win with the lowest price. And if I still don't win, well then I didn't want to pay that much anyways.
