Dyno tuned

I finally got my car dyno tuned! The basics of the setup are: Ford 302, bored to 306, 10:1 compression, aftermarket heads, intake, cam, shorty headers, dual 2.5" exhaust with cats.

I'll elaborate more tomorrow, it's late now. The short of it is that I picked up about 30-40 hp, and the crank number should be right around 350-360. I didn't get near the "330-340 rwhp" that the guy said at first, but the exhuast is thought to be the cause of that. (The muffler setup is fairly restrictive)

The red graph is pretty much a baseline, there are breaks in it because of bad spark plugs. (old, and gapped at 0.050!) The green is the final result. The baseline is not a full pull, but you can see an increase of about 25 hp (and torque) at 5250.

The green graph is actually low on tqe/hp, because they were trying to break the 300 hp number, so we cooled the engine down, and did the run. It turns out, and you can see it in the A/F ratio, that the run was made while still in cold enrichment mode, so add a few hp to that for the real number. In a normal run, the A/F had a similar graph, but at around high 12s to 13:1.
