AC update questions

Have you considered changing to the 93 240 A/C system? That might work a lot better than what you've got now, and probably wouldn't need as much work to fit as a universal unit. The system I am thinking of has the drier as a large aluminum can mounted at the firewall.

The reason I ask is because I have been wondering about that myself. The A/C in my girlfriend's 93 940 works very well, and I would have to imagine that it's similar to what was in the 93 240.

Then again, I have heard that the old 240 systems, if you convert them to R134 with a variable orifice valve, get pretty cold.
