A/C Electrical question.

I think I am one step closer. I guess if I did'nt gound the ground side of the connector before the diode I supose the diode would leak accross and give me 12v on both sides. I have'nt chased the ground lead does anyone know off hand where this ground comes out of the harness or where the diod is in the harness?
