A/C Electrical question.

I'm not sure I follow what you are saying. The 12V path should be coming from the source in the climate control switch, through the low pressure switch on the receiver dryer, through the wide-open-throttle cutout switch to the A/C clutch, and from the clutch to ground.

On my car, I have it wired to switch on the fans when the A/C is on. If you do that, you have to install a diode to ensure that power sent to the fans when the radiator thermo-switch closes does not engage the A/C clutch. Other than that, I'm not sure what diode you are referring to.
