AC update questions

Michael,

I'd like to see the ball-valve set up on your car--especially since I could only get the round plastic replacement valve instead of the original metal unit.

I was afraid that there would be warm coolant leaking into the heater core after a while . . . it looks similar to the heater valve in my old Audi and they only seem to seal whell for the first couple of years.

Only a few more parts to round up--hope to start the ac update (and PS pump replacement) this weekend or next.

BTW, I got the new ac compressor from a local Ford warehouse. Motorcraft part, about 120 cheaper than the dealer's cost--even cheaper than the reman part (total was around 240, including the tax)

Best,

Steve A-
