ECT problem? Need some help

Are you aware that on startup, if you hold it at WOT during cranking, the computer does not inject fuel? This is so that if you have flooded the engine, you can clear it out.

My point is that this may indicate a too rich condition during startup, which is also consistent with your cold starting/rough running. I'd bet that when warm, your car is running rich, too. Have you noticed any less power?

All this richness could be caused by an ECT failure.

Let us know what happens with the new sensor.
