suspension on my 740 v8

As far as clearance issues for the braces, you should just look around at other 740s with V8 conversions, but I was under the impression that the IPD upper and lower braces will fit ok.

As for bracing the rear, nothing is really available, it's not a rear strut suspension. If you want to stiffen up the rear, you're probably looking at a roll cage.

The full poly bushing setup works very well on a 240, it seems no one has had binding problems, but the suspension is a little different than the 700/900. For the rear suspensions on 740s, I've seen torque rods with heim ends and a strengthened rear subframe, as well as the adjustable panhard rod. For the front, I haven't seen much.
