Tachometer 745 LT1/T56

How can I get the Volvo tachometer to work with my LT1 engine? I'm sure I could find a VDO tach or similar to go in the same spot but I'd rather it look stock. Is there a signal converter? I know where to pick up the signal from the ECU. Right now the gauge is pegged when I turn the car on. As I last resort I could gut the factory tach and put the internals from another tach in that will work with the V8.

On an unrelated note I dyno'd the car this weekend:

Thanks,
