Roller rockers 'while I'm in there'?

Since adding the new GT40 heads is taking a little longer than I planned, I'm starting to think of what else would be good to do "while I'm in there." One of the things I'm considering is a set of roller rockers (I can get a good deal on a new set of 1.7:1 ratio)--I'm staying with the stock cam for now.

Other add's are Cobra intake manifold, 65mm throttle body. I also have a 70mm MAF and a set of 24# injectors on the shelf.

From what I've read, there's not too big a downside to the rollers (other than cost), and I still should be able to use them with a slightly hotter cam in the future (if/when I swap from AOD to T5). Oh, I probably will have to clearance the valve covers too . . . .

Any good/bad experience with rollers? Any BTDTs to watch out for?

Thanks in advance!

Steve A-
