Anybody have Converse Ford clutch cable info?

Think I've confirmed that what I have is a 262C pedal assy and cable.
Talking to my friend who was with me when I bought the parts lot, I mentioned that the parts came from a maroon color 244 sitting in a field with 4 other Volvos and a half dozen other cars. "Don't you remember?" said my friend, " The guy said they came from the black car, the one with the funny roof" A 262C. "Remember, he wanted you to buy the interior?"
This explains the odd motor mount/bracket/cradle and the "slide-in" trans mount.
Was not aware there were so many differences between 242 & 262.
