Hey everyone out there. This is my first posting, as I am new to this sort of thing. So, my name is Ellen and I'm Ross Converse' daughter (the guy who does V8 Volvo conversions). I'm working for him now, and trying to get him more organized and efficient so I was wondering if I could get some opinions about a possible gathering we were thinking of having this summer. It would be along the lines of a cookout/drag race day probably in New York (Albany?) I've been reading a lot of messages that have been posted about him, good and bad. I happen to know that he tries as hard as he can to get back to people and provide support and advice but Converse Engineering is a very small business (mainly him, and now me) and he can't be everything to everyone. Also, I know that he's a unique and wonderful man, who loves what he does and we realize that there need to be some changes to the way things work around here. We're making progress, I promise. I know there are a lot of past customers that have been satisfied, and we'd love to have them attend the event. So, it's just in the planning stages now, but it would be great to get some thoughts on the idea.
