Transverse muffler for 240 conversions with duals

914 - didn't intend to send the message that your comments weren't welcome or helpful; they'll be very helpful to others in the same boat I'm sure. So the references are useful. And you're correct - I should have added the following constraints to my comments. It's VERY difficult to find a muffler in this configuration that will be quiet enough for me, and have enough flow capacity for my HP level.

I've been researching this for months now. The SuperTurbo you reference only has a 16" case - it's rated to support only 237 HP in a single application - about 50 shy of my needs. Besides that, because of the short case, it's rated for volume as a "Sport" muffler, not a "Street" muffler - which for means even if it had the capacity, it would be too loud for me. After finding it in the site, I got rather excited and had a lengthy conversation with their tech line help. Once they understood what I was after, they concluded, they don't make one that will work for me. Having owned many Flowmasters over the years - I didn't bother to check them. They're all too loud for me.

The car's been too loud for me all 4 years I've owned it. I'm old. I'm determined to quiet the SOB down this time.

Shoot me an email at myount@senndelaney.com and I'll be happy to keep you abreast with before and after pics. And I'll have two different types of used single 3" in/out SpinTech mufflers for sale afterwards if those help with your project.
