Yes, drivelines of the same type are the same in both sedan and wagon models. I transplanted a complete 245 driveline (engine, trans, d-shaft, rear axle) into a 244 a few years ago w/o problem. If I remember correctly, even the rear parts of the shafts are the same length (although the size of the bolt holes in the flanges in the rear shaft and differential may vary based on year of manufacture). Only the front parts of the shaft (that connect to the output flange on the trans) differ--i.e., different lengths for different transmissions.
