I think I'm going to make a go of it without the Converse kit...

if your using a carb 302, you shouldnt need the kit as long as your not afraid to fab the motor mounts, which are very simple to make. i used the kit, but wished i hadnt, due to how simple everything was. i do still have my instructions somewhere i think. the volvo driveshaft gets canned. i used one off a late 80,s thunderbird turbocoupe, there is no set measurement of how much to shorten it, you have to make a measurement once the motor and tranny are in the car. i also used a tbird v8 radiator, its very simple to fit in. all you have to do is cut a groove wide enough for the radiator in the lower crossmember the old radiator sits on. i still have all the ac crap that came with my kit, due to the fact i scrapped the ac. i would sell them if they would help. as for the power steering, its a custom hose that can be made by any hydraulic hose shop, probly under 40 bucks.
i have no idea about the shift linkage, since my car is a 5 speed, shouldnt be hard to make linkage though.
hope this helps
mike
